Silco Electric

Montgomery County electrician, Adam Silverman, has worked many years for a Rockville-based electrical company. With the slump in the economy, his employer experienced a sharp decrease in work. Adam thought it was no better time to venture out on his own and set-up his own DC-area electrical company, Silco Electric.

One of Silverman's first business moves was to call Reef Light Interactive in hopes to create a web presence for his new company. Starting from nothing but a homemade logo and clever slogan, we worked with Adam to develop a brand strategy to ensure his business would stand apart from the other electricians in the area and thrive in this gloomy economy. We worked on a new logo design that captures what Silco Electric does day-in, day-out -- electrical services. What better way is there to convey what he does than visually in the logo? We created a custom wiring typography to write "SILCO".  From there, we worked with Silverman on new business cards and a clean website design. Lastly, we optimized the website, developed a linking campaign, and created a Google local business center account.

Today, Adam and his company, Silco Electric, shine through the thick fog of competition and the dreary economy. Business is up and as Adam says "Silco is now the hottest thing in town!"
